3. General Terms for All Delivery/Dispatch Services
- Patient/Representative Responsibility:
- Provide accurate delivery address, contact information, and any specific delivery instructions.
- Ensure availability of the patient or authorized representative to receive the delivery at the agreed time.
- For medications, ensure proper storage immediately upon receipt as per instructions.
- Hospital Responsibility:
- Ensure correct items are dispatched as per request/prescription.
- Use appropriate packaging to ensure the integrity and safety of items during transit.
- Make reasonable efforts to deliver within the communicated timelines.
- Failed Delivery Attempts:If delivery fails due to incorrect address, unavailability of recipient, or inability to contact, the Hospital will attempt to re-schedule. Repeated failed attempts may incur additional charges or lead to cancellation of the delivery service for that instance, requiring items to be collected from the Hospital.
- Delays:The Hospital is not liable for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances such as traffic congestion, extreme weather, natural disasters, public disturbances, or other events beyond its reasonable control (Force Majeure).
- Verification:The Hospital reserves the right to verify the identity of the recipient before handing over any items, especially medications and confidential documents.
4. Limitations
- The Hospital reserves the right to refuse delivery service to areas deemed unsafe or inaccessible.
